Do you have to be a certain age to volunteer at the Community Dinner?
If 15, you may help out unaccompanied. Under 15, we require that an adult accompany children. If your child is comfortable socializing with vulnerable people, they may start as young as 10, with an adult’s supervision.
Do I have to stay for the full shift?
We ask people to try to stay for a full shift, but we understand that sometimes people have to leave early. We ask people to stay through clean-up, though if we have enough hands, some peoplemay leave earlier. It takes many hands to do this each day. Werely on our volunteers to help keep the kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Can I edit or cancel my shift?
Yes. You can edit or cancel your shift by logging back into POINT with the original email and password you used for your signup.
